He is an honors graduate of the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, Florida, and a graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Conway, South Carolina. Carr has won numerous awards for his work and has been recognized by organizations such as the Coastal Advertising and Marketing Professionals, Florida Professional Photographers Association, South Carolina Professional Photographers and the Professional Photographers of America.
